The Host

I finished reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer yesterday. I will admit, I had a hard time getting through it, at first, it took me one week to get through chapter 7. Then it became a little more interesting, and I got through the first half of the book on day 8. Then I couldn't put it down! I read the last half of the book in a day! It is definitely not the Twilight Series, but it is REALLY good in it's own way. I like the alien twist. It's not too sci-fi, but it adds a fantasy twist. What did everyone else think?

Twilight The Movie

Okay, I know I am random about my posts, and that this isn't about my family,

but I am so excited! I love the Twilight Series.

Another friend had this on her blog, and I just had to share too!

The official movie trailer has been released.

And YouTube has one with clips from the movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFspBQkx-uQ&NR=1

I am saying right now, Girls Night in December. Who's with me?

I can't wait!!! I'm still working on the Edward thing, but LOVE the story and lines! August is when the fourth book comes out. Can't wait!!

I just started reading The Host this week. Haven't been as into it as the Twilight Series, but enjoying it, when I get the time. I'll have to do a little review when I'm done, share your thoughts on this book too!

Book Review

I just finished this book! Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer. She is a BYU graduate, in English literature. This book is the first in a series. I can't wait to read the other books. I was introduced to this book by my mother-in-law. She told me she received it from her sister, and that all the girls were reading this. It is about a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire! I really thought, "this sounds weird". But I took the book, and started it. I couldn't stop reading it! I read it in four days! It was so fun, and imaginative. Yet it was very "love story" too! It reminded me of when Jeff and I were dating, and nothing mattered but wanting to be close to him!!!! The vampire has such a power over this girl, it is a lot like teenage infatuation. I recommmend this book. And I can't wait to read New Moon. A lot of people must really like these books, there 134 people on the waiting list at the library for it!
