I finished reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer yesterday. I will admit, I had a hard time getting through it, at first, it took me one week to get through chapter 7. Then it became a little more interesting, and I got through the first half of the book on day 8. Then I couldn't put it down! I read the last half of the book in a day! It is definitely not the Twilight Series, but it is REALLY good in it's own way. I like the alien twist. It's not too sci-fi, but it adds a fantasy twist. What did everyone else think?

I agree. It definitely wasn't Twilight, but it was still good. I enjoyed it A LOT! I too had a hard time getting through the first few chapters. But just like you I finished it REALLY fast as soon as it picked up a bit. I am looking forward to any other novels Stephanie writes! I hope she writes them soon!
