Class Projects

In Ashton's Class they learned about Dinosaurs. They studied about what different characteristics helped the dinosaurs do. They picked the Pteranadon for a class project. They learned about what it's body looked like. What it ate. How it got around. What color scientists think it was. Then they made a wire and cloth model of it. AJ and Alyson were able to help participate in painting the rock. That was fun, and messy!

Here is a picture of Ashton next to the Class Pteranandon. It sits proudly on display by the front doors.

After the Dinosaur unit, the class studied weather. The class made a video, like the news, with a weather forcast. The Pteranadon was the meteorologist. The kids got to help with the forcast and the commercials. They actually made a video, and showed the whole school before Spring Break.

Thank You Ms. Murphy for all the fun ways to learn! Our family has really enjoyed Ashton and school. There have been so many fun activities, and things to learn.
